Robb’s Music Becomes Homeless Shelter

If you’ve driven on 30th Street south of Valmont lately you’ve probably noticed that Robb’s music has closed after almost 40 years in business, and there’s a lot of change happening to that building. As well as the surrounding area.

The most recent development is that the Boulder County homeless services will be using the building for a variety of programs for at least the next two years.

Bridge House, Bridge House’s Community Table meal program, as well as partnering organizations such as Boulder Community Health, Clinica Family Health and Veterans Affairs will utilize the location for a variety of services to the community.

Boulder Junction Rowhouses, a 28-unit townhome development is going in next door, and the mixed use S’Park is across the street to the east, and the new Google campus is just a few blocks south.

With this much action we’ll see some significant positive change to the otherwise under-utilized mid portion of 30th street in Boulder.

I’d seriously enjoy having the opportunity to talk to you about your plans if you’re moving, or if you know someone who is considering a move, and needs some straight answers.
