While there's a well-written book I read recently about mountain lions getting people-tolerant along the front range, it's something many of us forget about. Recently there have been increasing stories about mountain lion sightings. One of the most recent was three lions in the Bailey, Colorado.
The largest problem isn't the mountain lions themselves. It's the fact that they've become tolerant of people. Historically mountain lions were naturally shy and in fact even afraid of people. Not anymore.
