The final segment of highway 470 which would finish the circle comprised of C470, E470, and the Northwest Parkway is hitting snags. The last piece from Broomfield, through Superior and into Golden has been a difficult path for quite some time.
Seems the firm in the running to build the last bit of this beltway says that the project doesn't make financial sense.
The Jefferson Expressway Group says it's withdrawing from the project as a private sector partner as they say the "anticipated revenue (tolls) does not adequately support the project's costs..."
