Eldorado Springs Resort, owned since 1983 by Eldorado Artesian Springs Inc., had decided to close the pool for the 2019 season. The reasons for the closure center around restoration and historic preservation.
The pool has been extremely popular with people from all over the area for years. Originally opening in 1905, and at one time the area included a hotel that attracted many famous people through the 1900's.
