Does Passage of Prop 122 Mean Mushrooms will be as ubiquitous as cannabis?

In a somewhat narrow margin proposition 122 passed in the last election. This means that psychedelic plants and fungi are now legalized, and it may be as easy as going to the local dispensary (like you can for cannabis) for recreational use.

However, in the meantime it seems the rules are starting out as they did with cannabis. You'll have to consume them in a government-regulated setting under the supervision of trained facilitators.

Called the Natural Medicine Health Act, it remains to be seen if something like this begins as cannabis did with a purely medical use intent, but later due to high profit potentials may become very recreationally mainstream.

According to local media, even those who may have opposed Prop 122 due to their view against normalizing psychedelics do find the decriminalization aspects of the pro-mushroom move a positive one.
