After two years of pausing the collection process on water bills as a response to the 2020 economic shut down, the City of Boulder has resumed collection processes on overdue water bills.
Get ready to pay or get your water shut off says the City of Boulder. The "free ride" has ended, and it's time to double check your water bill for late fees and delinquencies. You can call 888-601-3012 or pay online. The Boulder billing office may also offer some support. Payment plans are apparently available.
The city says anyone struggling to pay a bill can get help if their trouble is due to the 2020 economic shutdown. If you're a landlord and your tenant pays for their water, you may want to remind your tenant to check their bills for overdue balances.
