Boulder Liquor Mart Becoming Residential

The iconic liquor store, Liquor Mart, in downtown Boulder was purchased last year by an outfit called Core Spaces. They also purchased an adjacent building which has had several businesses over the years, including the well-known Robb's Music.

Plans are in the works to redevelop the land to include underground parking, about 11,000 square feet of street-level retail, and almost 150 apartments. Apparently there's nothing fast tracked on this. Owners of Liquor Mart have negotiated a lease that keeps them in the space for quite some time.
